I agree with both your and Richard's reply. The one thing that I have done wrong in the past is look at the amount of the loss and not the percentage, but that will change soon. I plan to go with a 5% of capital limit on the original purchase and a maximum allowable loss of 10% on the trade.

One point that I have thought about but do not know the best way to put into practice is purchasing additional shares. I understand Richard's view of not buying to average down, but what if the price increases. Do you have any thoughts of when to purchase additional shares and should separate stops be used on the additional purchases?

I guess that I am going to have to go back and re-read Dave's talk about averaging up that he gave in Cleveland (the first thing will be to find it). Hope you have a great weekend.
