PAL: The premium can now be counted as profit on the books. Nope! This stuff never hits the P&L. It will simply be folded into the equity section. Note that sale of puts previously had been reclassified from a liability to an equity item. I'm not sure whether the puts are marked to market or not, so I don't know what impact this will have had on equity. TTFN, CTC
