Alan,

I don't deny them at all. I simply see a meaning that is more important to me than simply a record of an historical event.

"fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."

A mother is love and light. If all one believes in is love and light, it is all around them. What is all around us is the Earth. Joseph is jealousy, and belief in the lack of love. Jesus is one who sees love all around him, and is surrounded by it, as in a sphere, or halo.

The physical Jesus came from Mary, the Earth. It says in the Bible that what came from the dust, Earth, shall return to the dust. Jesus knew that only his body came from the dust. That he was not it. Men who believe they are their bodies and will return to dust are jealous of those who believe in and thus have eternal life. Thus was the problem for Joseph. He believed that people come from Mary (dust) and men (Joseph) and not from God, with the dust of the body merely being a temporary manifestation of the spirit. Joseph could not believe that one of dust could be of God, and this was his sleep, as many of us are now sleeping. When Joseph allowed himself to understand that his body was only dust, it was then that the spirit in Joseph himself was revealed. We are all asleep to our true spiritual nature, in bondage by a belief in dust.

21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Jesus is the belief in life.

"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

It is the act of any birth that shows God is with us, not just Jesus. Birth reveals God, as God is life. God is life, not death. I choose to see life in us, and thus God, not death. In this way, we are all called Christ, else we would be called "God is NOT with us".

Joseph, upon accepting that his body was dust, saw himself reborn , as all must be. It is only through the removal of the belief in the body, and its resultant belief in death and pain, that we can once again become the perfect child we once were.

34: "But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water."

Why did water come out of Jesus? I've seen blood flow out of something dead, but water? What is the significance of this? It is another affirmation of the healing aspects of shedding the belief in the body. Jesus was showing us that he was not only a body, blood, and dust, but that he was filled with living water, and this living water would persist as it always had, and could not be killed. As in the story of the woman at the well, Jesus believed the living water to be all we are that mattered, LIFE. And since the water of life was still within him, he was, and is, still alive. That which is worshipped as the body is exactly that which we have to shed belief in, while we are still alive, that we may see that we are nothing but the living waters of life and spirit, and nothing else matters.

42: And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
44: And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45: And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.
46: And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Jesus said "TODAY" shalt thou be with me in paradise. Today is light, as opposed to tonight. In life and light there is paradise. This is true even as were are of the dust. Those with him who believed themselves of the dust, died, but they had died and been sent to hell long before, while they were still in their bodies. What is being described here, is an eclipse. An eclipse is usually when the LIGHT of the Sun (Son) is blocked from our vision. The light is blocked by our belief that the light is not there, by a belief in death. It is this belief in death that is the veil of darkness, that would we should lift, in order to see. Jesus knew that he was not his body, that he was life, and not death. And being of God, he would always be of God. He knew that it is not life eclipsing death, but death eclipsing life, for life is real, and death the illusion. And so he released the ghost, his body, back unto the dust from which it came. And he did not die. All that one need do to be reborn is to do as Christ taught, knock down the belief in death and darkness between our temples, and we shall be rebuilt in a DAY (light). If you have done so within your own understanding, I am glad of it. In this way, it is the belief in the lesson, and not in Christ that is of most importance to me. Christ is, and stood for, life.

So you see where some of my perspective comes from. The belief in Christ is almost irrelevant to me to the belief in what he was teaching. If we believe he died, then we miss his lesson, and he did die, for the sin of that belief. If we accept his lessons, we know that we are not our body, and we already have eternal life, as the belief in life eclipses death. Believing in light and eternal life corrects our error, and, in our own miracle, Christ never died, and neither will we. As is written,"Greater things than these ye shall do".

I don't say any of this to try to make you NOT believe in Jesus. The only things I would like you not to believe in is sin, death, and Satan, but that is your choice. Jesus taught that it is a choice. Jesus taught us that we make them, and only we can unmake them, by healing them with a belief in life. He would not have you worship a dead body, but worship life. Walk in eternal life and heaven on Earth as Jesus did, or anyone can. This is the New Testament that Jesus revealed. This is the secret. Who told you that you have to die?

Peace,
Darrin
