SPECULATION re: Rabins v. Canadian "STRONG SELL" Analyst... giving the Rabins the benefit of the doubt AND in consideration of the absolutely formidable task of divesting SoftQuad Inc, consummating NewKidCo, contemporaneous with NASDAQ NMS delisting and an adverse Kurzweil/Lernout en Hauspie arbitration ruling...it is entirely possible the 'lone Canadian analyst' whom issued a highly unusual STRONG SELL was none other than Taurus Capital?, the Ontario Merchant Banker retained for the SoftQuad Inc divestiture...however, given the divestiture was actually an MBO...Taurus may have been told to take a walk by our very conservative and hyper-cash conscious CFO...ergo a STRONG SELL...said STRONG SELL simply makes no sense and the timing is equally anomolous...yes, it is amazing we are siding with the Rabins but 1) we are sick of beating them up and 2) there may just be more than meets the eye here, again, given the absolutely overwhelming task confronting the Rabins and Steve Schneider...SoftQuad Inc is divested wherein we own 19% of a superior and passionate management team...pure upside and no cash outflow...and Tiny Toons® has shipped and is [IN] all mass and toy merchandisers/chains/superstores...they deserve a break if not a resounding congratulations...for the time being...seeing the forest from the trees at this point in time (the last 120 days) is and has simply been very difficult...q4 '98 will provide unequivocal reconciliation to this apparent 'STRONG SELL' v. '$9 million strong contribution to earnings' NewKidCo turnaround paradox...
