>>M$FT is an apps company. They should stop trying to do something they are clearly not capable of doing and forget NT.>>

cheryl:

I say, by all means LET Microsoft try to do something they are clearly not capable of doing!!!

Encourage them, exhort, support, put on barbeque picnics, give away balloons, make them feel loved. The poor slave developers deep inside Microsoft are working, not for a vision or lasting purpose, but just for a paycheck. The stock price is slowing down. The energy and drive is not there anymore. Ask anyone who worth their salt, knows their stuff who works for Microsoft. First off, I think you'll have a hard time locating these brave souls. Second, if you do find them, they are probably flying back from Tahiti on the value of their 5 year stock options. Got to get these trips in while the stock price is still high.

The smart ones know future growth is AWAY from Windows. Windows will look more and more like VAX VMS as time goes on. Something that really sizzled when it was hot, but they either forgot to remove the meat from the burner, or the burner just got too hot.

Rock, rock, rock, rock. Damn that Internet. Where do I want to go today?????? Hmmmmmm. "I not sure what you mean by that statement???"

Why doesn't anyone respond to screams, whips, chains, balls and thunder anymore? Why is the world turning so whimpy, creative, open, loving, caring, sharing. I'm beginning to feel lost.

Guess we better go sell more software to Japan, China, Russia, etc. They still get it over there!
