Christmas doesn't hit the Post Office like it once did. October and November seem to be worse now, with the high volume of catalogs and election mail. December is light enough now that we can even use annual leave, unheard of in the past. So I'll let my Regulars go without me around the holidays. The Post Office has been sponsoring a float in the Rose Parade the past few years, and they use volunteers to stick the flowers on in the days right before New Years. Maybe I'll give that a try this year, I'll be off and it might be fun.
