LU is "managing" it's profits and the reported profits are not the true profits.

Also remember LU is run not by a professional but by a salesman and salesman' are notorious to tell "white lies" and paint rosy pictures.

The bad sign is that they needed to raise $500 million to finance their operation from the public and not from banks.

Corporation such as LU can borrow at LIBOR, not prime.

In any case LU is grossly overvalued by around 50% - e.g the actual stock price should be around $45 to $50 and not $90.

Unfortunate today stocks are traded as a commodity mostly on momentum and TA with complete disregard to fundamentals or any other conventional yardstick.

Relying on this technic to by stock can backfire quite badly, myself included, as I lost several K $ based on the gap open Friday and on the belief that the momentum players will push the stock toward $90 on close Friday.

For all those not actively trading get out of LU ASAP for your financial health. For traders LU will still be volatile and be pushed toward the $90 mark again before reversal IMHO
