Dennis thanks for the report. I agree about earnings for the Q. They should be at or only very slightly above street estimates. What should move this stock is new contracts and street upgrades in the next several weeks.

If their is anything going on with NN and Siemens or LU that would be icing on the cake. The Reuters story posted yesterday on this thread talking about rumors of a LU move to take a ~15% position in Newbridge is in my opinion the most likely scenario if anything were to happen.
Terry and Alan would not have to give up control of the company.
That would give Newbridge the exposure in the U.S. market that it has lacked (75% of LU's business is in the U.S.) and it also would give LU a much stronger exposure outside North America with Newbridge.

<Newbridge stock drops despite more rumors
TORONTO, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Newbridge Networks Corp. stock dropped on Friday despite more talk that U.S.-based Lucent Technologies Inc. was poised to acquire a stake in the telecommunications and networking company. Rumors that Lucent was taking a 15 percent equity block in
Kanata, Ontario-based Newbridge failed to bolster its share price, which fell C$1.75 to C$38.60 on the Toronto StockExchange.>

Glenn
