High Grader, I kind of agree about the Dow being toppy... but I am not terribly bearish either. I have used call and put spreads but only on stocks and the OEX, SPX, and NDX. I have traded commodity options, but in the final analysis... for my style of trading I do better by just concentrating on the contracts themselves. At some point, I will examine if I can use commodity options to compliment my contract trading. More immediately, I would like to home in my skills in spread trading. It is something I do now in the grains and meats from time to time, and have found it to be superior to outright contract trading with respect to risk management. What I know about spreading is mostly self taught, and am looking for a good book on spread trading... but I have yet to see or hear of one. I have noticed the similarities of Gann and Ewave as well. Perhaps they were driving at similar conclusions, coming from different perspectives... who knows? Talk to you later Regards, Frank
