<<With only 1.5 million shares outstanding (maybe 1.7 million) there can be only about 1600 people that will be able to hold 1,000 shares. There is no supply of the stock -- It has to leap !>>
Bob, first I take it that you meant to say 1.58 million shares float. The outstanding after the offering is 8.9 million. Secondly, you're missing the obvious. Believe it or not, even before the first official UBID share is traded, already a good one-third of the outstanding, or 3 million shares have been actively traded at a price of about $24. When the IPO comes out, the float will jump to 4.6 million shares, more than half of the outstanding. And unlike other IPO issues which can not be shorted, 2/3 of the float can be shorted immediately. The interesting scenario to be seen is, can 1/3 of the float which will come out soon lift the price of the other actively traded 2/3, or will they all sink together?
