No individual break down for First Call estimate....

I monitor this estimate on a weekly basis and report it to the board accordingly. I do not have the individual break down for each analyst.

If you look at the previous posts on this board, I called the company two weeks ago and they explained their growth going forward as follows.

1) They see their low PDA's growing at a steady 10% annual rate BUT maintaining atleast a 30% net margin. Lattice told me "they will not continue forward with a low density PDA product if they can not get a 30% margin or higher".

2) They want to expand their high density line as a percentage of total sales with a goal of reaching 60% of total sales by 1998-2000. As of their last reporting period they reached a 44% amount. AS far as I am aware, their net margin is quite high with this line...well over 100% with some products.

The 1996 earnings forecast I believe is $2.10 - $2.30. A First call 1997 estimate of $2.79 means an increase of $0.69-$0.49. This represents an aveage 26% growth rate going forward for 1997. This is growth in "net income" and sales may or may not need to grow at this amount. This growth number seems very achieveable if they can accomplish BOTH No 1 and No. 2 above.

EKS

P.S. Xlynx and Altera have an imputed growth rate for 1997 (net income) of between 30-40 %.

P.S.S. Andy, remember the First Call estimate is for fical year 1997 not 1996.
