iuWell Chief, I think it's time to close the topic unless you are prepared to carry this into a philosophical debate and that would not suit the thread.
Using YBM, BXM and PHV as examples is like saying: I could be diagnosed with cancer tomorrow, fall down the stairs and break my neck, get run over by a transport truck. The odds for any of those are about as slim as winning 6/49.
I also tend to get a bit touchy every time BXM is mentioned. I was one of the very early investors. All we were looking for was 6 Mil. oz in the central zone and that's what we put our money on. I and many others I know bailed when this thing got blown out of proportion and the greedy and stupid ones started to buy. They are the ones that got stuck and maybe, just maybe they deserved it.
Playing the market is only a gamble for those who are ignorant or greedy. Taking losses from time to time is part of the game just like taking the gains.
Anyone looking at this as a gamble is a fool and will end up loosing his or her shirt.
It's a calculated risk and involves a lot of time.
Let's just leave it at that
Best
