I cannot assure anyone of this, and I urge all to make your own investment decisions, but I am reasonably sure that there is a 50/50 chance at this point of IBM being the "unnamed suitor" in the Reuters story.

It would at the very least make sense, seeing how NPIX products are already part of some of IBM's products.

In the interest of full disclosure, I own a small number of shares of this stock, based largely upon speculation. I do not know anything about the rumors about earnings nor about the specified buyout price of 38 dollars a share.
