Steve....in my experience, the expertise of the 'sales force' at Office Max, Office Depot and Staples is pretty much limited to: 'is the item in stock or not'. Apologies to the half dozen or so employees who are absolutely on top of the tech situation.

Reseller and s. bateh could probably inform us better but I suspect that these chains actually do move some product in the small biz arena. Maybe it would be worth IOM's time to educate and energize the folks at these outlets. Maybe some eye-catching and informative displays to go along with the products.....

Saw half page Dell ad in latest IBD.....featured machine had ZIP built in. Also a new Compaq TV ad (for 5600 Presario series) that brags about ZIP being part of the system at both the start and end of the ad. IMO, that was an ad dollar well spent.....quite the opposite of
$100 million campaign featuring those goofy airplane ads.
