4:00 p.m. Update November 20, 1998

SOYBEANS:

Soybean futures finished moderately weaker. Even with a strong weekly NOPA crush figure of 32.47 million bushels, beans were unable to trade on the positive side. Today's crush figure was over 500,000 bushels more than last week's. Ideas that rains will be widespread in South America over the weekend pressured trade. The January contract currently has a double top at 5.88. For the week, beans gained about 3 cents.
