The following is a look at the group for its performance during the last 12 months. It obviously doesn't tell much about the future, but at least it gives an answer to the question, "What have you done for me lately?" The table is sorted by most profitable to least profitable based on percentage performance. For the past 12 months, 18 of the stocks were profitable, 1 broke even, and 22 were unprofitable. The bottom 11 stocks in the table had a loss of 10 percent or more. The group as a whole only made 87 Million based on sales of 15.39 Billion, a profit margin of 1 percent. Also shown at the bottom of the table is the result with AMAT removed from the average. In this case, the loss is 144 Million on sales of 11.348 Billion, a profit loss of 1.3 percent.
