JDRogers: Re: fixing McDonalds' signs.

Everybody worldwide knows about the "Golden Arches" restaurant. Well, the Sedona city planners wouldn't allow the big golden "M" because it didn't conform to city code, which states that signage must complement the colors of the surrounding landscape ... which is mostly red rocks. Apparently, red and teal-green go well together, but red and yellow don't (how should I know? ... I'm a programmer!).

Before the city planners would allow the McDonald's to be built, the owners had to get a special waiver from McDonald's Headquarters to change the color of the golden arches to teal-green. So, now we have the world's ONLY teal-green arches.

So much for today's trivia lesson.
