Thank you for the very informative post. You just confirmed the fact I do need a new computer to solve this problem. Pentium computers started out at 60Mhz many moons ago. I do have a 300 that we use for personal and old business records and would never connect it to the web.
I looked at different configurations today. It appears that a basic 450 Dell with duel monitors will run about 4,000 which is fair. But, this is only a hobby (very profitable and enjoyable). I need to ask more questions to find the best setup for trading. Duel computers, ISP's. Cable modems are out of the question for now. Cablevision and Americast are available in front of our house and neither offer a cable modem in this area, SW of Cleveland. The second phone line was a must when a lawyer sent me a letter saying "Whenever you get off that damm computer, call me" LOL
