Don't want to start a rumor, nor do I know if it means that much at this point. Hell I could just be confused...look at the time. Tonight I was asked if I'd heard that BA was going to use G.Lite because GTE had decided to. The idea put forth was...because the results of G.Lite testing by Orckit, GTE, Intel & Fujitsu went well they decided to use the G.Lite. What surprised me was Orckit...I wasn't aware they were active in G.Lite. I haven't found much to support the complete rumor, however I did find some information in regard to it... Third one down dated 10-28-98 orckit.com If true this could indicate other changes in the DSL rollout here and over seas.
