Norm, thanks for not taking me to task for seemingly suggesting that all Kurds be forced into "homelands". In some countries that would be a fifth or more of the population. I would suggest that some of the Kurds could be lured by the promise of three hots and a cot. What they would get are territories they could call their own in which they could run things to suit themselves, more or less. Areas of Kurdistan are desert and mountains as it is. The South Africaners forced blacks into homelands and brought down the condemnation of the world. That was another lesson to be learned. Sure, maybe I should go to work for a Nobel Prize. I could use the money. Charles
