There was an article in the Lansing State Journal about a month ago where Lingg Brewer challenged the sale of the anthrax vaccine plant. I was going to relay that on this thread at the time but was too busy and also didn't think it affected NEOG that much. I can't recall the specifics, but I think Brewer felt the state should have retained more control. I also think he brought up the point about the dollar value of the sale not being in line with the actual or potential value. He may have said something about conflict of interest concerning those involved with BioPort. The only reason I brought this up was my concern that it would affect Neogen's interest in the vaccine and that should they wish to produce the vaccine they wouldn't be able to while the case was in court. If you wish more info and think it's important I would be willing to call Neogen or Brewer's office. It's no big deal as I live in the Lansing area. MJS
