Uh? Backup? A lintel can be made of wood. I believe you are referring to a column and lintel that is used for an outside wall opening. Pez is building a post and beam which supports the floors and roof. If he does it right he will use mortise and tenon joints. Same idea as a pole barn except a pole barn uses posts and trusses.
