Last Jan. we had a party here that revolved around the desiccated and frostbitten unidentifiable items at the bottom of our freezers or pushed to the back of our pantries and refrigerators. Barb Loucks (who hasn't been here in months--where are you, Barb?!!) was caught in that huge Canadian blizzard and lost her electricity. She found what she thought was a suckling pig and put it out by the mailbox to welcome visitors. When it thawed out, it was only a bag of peas. This gave rise to our first "A Freezer Full of Memories" get-together. This year, you may be our official sommelier. It sounds as if your wine will be the perfect accompaniment.
