Pronichev, what the 10-K says is that a cross-licensing agreement between Eveready and Valence allows Valence to use two of Eveready's patents covering the use of manganese oxide in cathodes. Eveready, in return, has access to some Valence patents covering their solid state electrolyte, for use in round cell batteries.
Apparently the manganese oxide application was not developed by Valence, but it's really a moot point.
