Paul - Thanks for the reply

Here are the three providers of Canadian data I am trying to decide between.

All U.S and Canadian equities and indexes $30/month (Can.)
naq.com

Canadian equities, indexes and mutual funds $25/month (Can.)
canstock.com

All U.S and Canadian equities and indexes $53/month (Can.) $35 if you don't want indexes.
reutersdatalink.com

The price of NAQ is definitely right. I am told that downloads are avaliable between 5-5:30 and files are downloaded off the net instead of by E-mail. The files are ASCII format (Open, High, Low, close, Vol).

A way to automate processing of ASCII data. Manually stepping through the steps does work, but it gets tedious very quickly.
I suggest you run through your "daily cycle" for a while, and see if you like MSWIN's Downloader, MSWIN files, and loading ASCII

I am currently not signed up with any provider and am just learning the program. Lets say I download a file with 16000 Canadian and U.S stocks and indexes in ASCII format and for sake of argument the 0 volume days are filtered out. Could anyone run me quickly through a procedure that would let me use this data in MSWIN 6.5. I have a P II 400 with a cable modem so downloads and processing should not be a huge issue.

Thanks for any replies in advance

Best Regards
KEITH
