stuff like ATT not buying another switch after year 2000 and going all IP based This is ludicrous, the shift is clearly from router based networking to switched. It's all because of the ever increasing amount of ASICs built into the chips that will always make switches far more efficient and reliable than routers. It's only a matter of time before routers are obsolete. And the king of routers has a REAL problem on his hands. His switches are way too big, with limited multi-platform functionality and most importantly he is without a comprehensive network management software package that covers ALL of his products and makes them 100% seamless. GO ASND!!! GO IP NAVIGATOR!!!
