Thanks for the responses everyone. I am going to experiment with ASCII files. However I think the price savings are not going to be worth the hassle. I just looked at the prophetdirect site and it looks very interesting. Possible the best deal so far. It looks like you can use the MSWIN downloader and do not have to worry about formating. According to the site they offer equities (All History) for $21.95/month and Equities (Six Months) for $12.95/month My question.. what if I want to have history on all stocks in the U.S and Canada and then want to update the stocks everyday? I got a data CD with history on U.S and Canadian stocks with Metastock 6.5. Best Regards KEITH
