jlallen,

What do you mean by >>....failed health care scheme.....<<?

I live in London and keep up with the European press. Clinton has had strong support, generally, in the papers throughout this 'crisis'. There have been numerous quotes from European politicians stating that they like dealing with Clinton because he is intelligent and capable of understanding lots of complex issues. In particular, The Times and The Guardian in London both published pro-Clinton/anti-Starr pieces during the end of last week. The Guardian stating the 'the tables turned on Mr. Starr's version of America."

In my experience, it seems that Clinton is less of an embarassment than Starr and the partisan politicians who will say, seemingly, anything to keep this thing going, ie., not look at the issue in a considered manner. It didn't do much for Gingrich's career.

IMHO,
Bond
