You can thank Del for starting this thread. He also started a thread on ENER some time back. In my post, I was referring to a stock swap between UQM and ENER - I have held stock in ENER long before I held UQM. ECD (Energy Conversion Devices, Nasdaq:ENER), developed the advanced nickel metal-hydride (NiMH) battery, as well as advanced photovoltaics and information products. I don't want to deviate from this threads topic to much, but you may want to take a look at them (ovonic.com). I believe that UQM realizes the potential of the NiMH battery in conjunction with there own products (elec. wheelchairs, elec. bikes and scooters, hybrid elec. passenger car etc.). I didn't mean to imply that they (UQM), should start developing batteries. In that regard you're right. It would be a waste of resources. I was just touching on the fact, that they have already formed a business agreement with ENER (see PR news dated Feb. 10, '98). Your thoughts?
