Sure, John. If Charles "Rick" Rule's former chief economist is an "ivory tower consultant", what does that make Uncle Milty? As I said, at the University of Chicago, "ivory tower" was considered a compliment, not a pejorative. Microsoft would be in very deep doodoo indeed if the doyen of the Chicago School came out against them. Friedman hasn't been nominated to the Supreme Court, last that I heard.
