X, I have discovered a wonderful soy product that everyone in my family loves. It is the individual juice pak sort of packages of chocolate soy milk from Trader Joe's, which even my finicky daughter will drink in her lunches. It comes in quarts or litres or something for plain old home use, but needs to be refrigerated after opening. If you are stopping by Trader Joe's, I must also recommend the dark chocolate covered caramels, which are pure and natural, inexpensive, and have only about two hundred calories per caramel. But well worth it, for a splurge.
Since I do not feel like cooking lately I have been unable to hide any silken tofu in blender drinks or salad dressings, so that is the best I can do, really. I do understand from reading The Economist that Japan's efforts at revitalizing its economy are more of the same old ineffective ones, and that while Asia might have stopped falling apart, it is still pretty much stalled out at the bottom. It is certainly not good news for European stability that the liberal woman leader was assassinated on Friday, however. I gleaned this information in an intellectal, logical thought process sort of deductive way, however. It would be much more reassuring if Christ said so. Maybe when a stock ticker symbol (CRAP for example) turns into a weeping Madonna, we should all buy a lot of it.
Are there any small green or grey men with big eyes and kind and exciting orifice-probing devices, incidentally? |
