jbe, I believe you are right. I do tend to lump Borzou and yourself together as Democrats. I apologize for that. At times I probably let my emotions regarding the sad nature of politics today get the better of me.

I am genuinely concerned regarding the negative effect allowing a President to get away with perjury will have on our country. The rule of law should be protected and cherished in a Democracy. I can't remember a time when it's been so calously tossed aside in favor of political expediency.

Allowing double standards of conduct like this, is akin to separating the people from the King and his court. I had hoped our country was better than this. It's not like the country would crumble or something if we allowed Al Gore to be President. Bill Clinton is just NOT that important to so thoroughly desecrate our institutions of law and order over.
