Thanks, Khalil. Being short AMZN I was pleased to see that the website of Powell's Books(www.powells.com), whose main store is 1/2 mile from my house, listed the Reddy and Weiss books re Security Operations as in stock. Powell's is one of the largest bookstores in the country - has about 3 branches I think. Powell's also sells lots of used books at considerable discounts. I went down to the store to look carefully at the books. Unfortunately neither of those books answered my short covering questions - nor did Staley's book about short-selling. Wow - its the dark area of securities trading. But I do appreciate the ideas. Books!! - who could have thought that would be the place to look for answers?? I almost forgot about them. Peter
