Rudedog,

Can you please cast some light on INTC's production and distribution models? If this means that INTC has advance orders for all the CPUs that it was planning to produce in 4Q from OEMs and the spot market where exactly are JIT manufacturers like DELL and GTW going to get CPUs from? Spot markets will surely be costly. This is exactly the kind of component demand/price firming that I was afraid of negatively affecting DELL's performance going forward. Would appreciate your thoughts.

BTW, wasn't INTC postponing new factory rollouts earlier this year? They must be running some crappy forecast models.

TIA as usual!
