I think that the point in question over the AOL/NSCP merger is that if AOL does buy NSCP, it may indeed affect the NSCP/QWST relationship. The reason is that NSCP's Netcenter is using a QWST OC-3 connection right now and may soon upgrade to an OC-12 connection. What happens when they get bought? Do they turn to AOL and use their backbone? Or does aOL even have its own backbone (I thought that was what TeraPoP was)? Or was the QWST agreement with NSCP a signed contract that NSCP can't get out of? Lot's of questions I suppose....
