Oh my gosh, Apratim, I do not understand half of your post. I must be in over my head again. I have printed it out however and will study it and write back if I understand it enough to ask question.
I can see now that my DELL could get called in the middle of the day and in the middle of the month's race or slow walk to the third Fri in Dec. And I didnt get enough of a price for selling those covered calls to make it worth my while, after thinking about what you said. Of course all of them are much cheaper now than when I sold them, so if I think DELL will get anywhere near 70 in the next few weeks although I believe it will close under 70 on that expiration day I should probably buy the calls back (for a slight profit) and forget that strategy. But if I believe DELL will go nowhere near 70 before then, it doesnt matter. However, as you say, its a volatile stock. Is it worth it?
Am I interpreting correctly, so far?
