Dwight, I not only copied it, but printed out what I copied as I tried to submit it, in case even the copying would prove problematic. Turned out that I had been disconnected without knowing it early on in my post, so what I copied and printed turned out to be just the post I copied to which I was responding! I had no way to save anything else from that session at that point. Oh well, tomorrow is another day....
