Mon 23 Nov 98 News Release
Mr. Donald Sheldon reports
In the Buffalo Hills area, the Ashton/Alberta Energy/Pure Gold joint
venture has begun a program to drill test additional airborne magnetic
anomalies considered to be potential new kimberlite bodies. The drill
program is expected to be completed by mid-December.
On the company's Edmonton block, three areas, which have returned anomalous
indicator mineral counts suggesting the presence of proximal kimberlite
bodies, will be systematically evaluated. This follow-up work will consist
of tightly spaced till sampling prior to conducting a high resolution
magnetic survey over select areas.
Further to the company's news release of Oct. 21, 1998 (Stockwatch Oct. 21)
announcing a private placement of 2,000,000 flow-through common shares at
25 cents, the company advises a price amendment to 28.5 cents per share for
a total purchase of 2,105,263 flow-through common shares.
Lastly, the company advises that it has not been able to effect the
transfer of the option on the South Africa alluvial project to Blackrun
Ventures as announced Sept. 11, 1998 (Stockwatch Sept. 11), and Blackrun
therefore retains its interest in its Alberta claims.
