blake, So it's a Latin thing then. I wonder what percentage of their income they devote to phone calls as compared to us comparatively silent and apparently much more lonely Americans. Lot's more from what I saw. And they all had more advanced equipment from what I've seen offered here in LA. I'll be looking to find one of those TINY Nokia's that everybody was using to replace the hand grenade I have now. I can imagine that sight that you describe. LOL. In my hotel in Rome, the restaurant was on the top floor with a magnificent view of the city and power breakfasts were happening all around us. It never happened quite like you describe, everybody reaching for phones at once - in my case it was like being in a fairly busy office, lot's of ringing - even the waiters had phones and the bus-boy did too.
