Using YOUR logic, Eidos can issue the same game every year, Tomb Raider 4, Tomb Raider 5, etc. with new levels and minor improvements.

Games have to innovate to sell well. Please don't put words in my mouth, I KNEW Tomb Raider II was going to ba huge success, read my previous messages a year ago in this thread. I was one of the biggest bulls on Eidos.

But sooner or later you have to innovate (Look at the Kings Quest series or Ultima), you canNOT re-release the same game every year. THERE IS a saturation point.

If you read the general consensus among gamers on the internet, most people are NOT excited about Tomb3. They see it as more of same, as do I.

I have no doubt Tomb3 will sell well if compared to the average game. It IS a bonafide hit, but it will not come close to Tomb 2 numbers. There are too many BETTER more innovative games out there, cough cough, Half-Life.
