I don't know whether to say good luck or good riddance
I see. Am I that unwelcome here for being someone to bring up negatives? I *thought* this thread had a bit too much of a pep club atmostphere to it. I must've stumbled into the wrong room.
For the record, let it be known that other folks, including my stockbroker, bought into this company based on my exuberant ravings about what a find it is. I feel now that my exuberance was badly misplaced.
Even if it jumps to $5 this week on lots of positive news, it would only mean I'd misjudged what the future held for the company. From where I sit, my attitude about it at this moment is 100% justified and my decision to sell is the correct one for me.
You'll notice, Doug, that I didn't call anybody foolish who disagrees with me. I am glad that the majority of the participants in this thread haven't decided to take personal shots at me (yet?).
Truthfully, I hope I'm wrong about FTEL, but the late audit, which is inconsequential to the majority, is a deafening siren to me. If I'm wrong, there sure isn't any reason I can't buy again on the upswing.
To everyone who takes exception to my negative (I consider them very reasonable and unemotional) postings, I do apologize. You'll just have to live with it, though. A forum in which the only permissible conversation is a bunch of mutual back-patting about an assured rosey future, has very little value for open-eyed investors. The bad news and opinions are at least as valuable as the good and should be permitted equal bandwidth. |
