I'm in Orange County, California, and I can't recall ever seeing an Eagle store, so I can't imagine it will matter that much to HD. There are a number of Home Depos around here and they are doing a fantastic job. I just bought a 10" power mitre saw there. They are already doing a fantastic Xmas business as far as I could tell. Come to think of it, I wouldn't think that they would get the kind of Internet competition other retailers will because a lot of their tool merchandise is too heavy to ship and they already have good prices. Just for fun, I always ask the checker what the current price of the stock is and almost all the time, they know!
