To be honest with you...I don't know what a remote is. Is it a splice box? In my case my copper goes to a splice box where it switches to fiber then goes to the CO. Pac Bell told me so. <gg>

You just reminded me of something I'd promised Jon, I'll look for a link to post, which maps all this out.
