LG,

For potential PUT plays, I dont like the way the NAZ is moving up so far. It has been a steady upswing intraday.

The RUT is still lagging the DOW and the NAZ slightly.

The BKX has just set a higher high slightly.

The DOW is up 90 but the TICK is only up 150-200 points. If a strong buy program stepped in right now we could see the DOW up much higher. Im not saying that a buy program will or will not happen.

I recall in the past that TICK movements in the 1000 range normally means the extremes and some sort of reversal, even intraday, should occur. We are not getting anywhere close to a 1000 tick and the DOW is up strong. The small guys are buying is my conclusion.

This is actually funny, the small guys are buying but the big boys are not really participating in light of the volume. If the big boys did start to go short by hedging already, they did it too early, but dont think it will be long before they do some selling so their hedge positions dont lose.
