been there/done that.. They are claiming that several market makers are having serious problems, and are being forced to manually do orders today.. also, the stock wasnt AMZN, but if it was? why should that be any different?

Im using my other brokerage account right now and having no problems trading the same stocks that ameritrade claims is having a problem. THis implies to me that its ameritrade who is having problems, but they realize it would cost a fortuned if they had to go back and read the tape to re-fill orders, thus this b.s. excuse..

Very scary whats happening here because when I told them I entered an order on XCIT and showed a fill in 2 seconds, they said they couldnt understand that/didnt believe it, because EVERYONE is having this problem today and it has NOTHING to do with ameritrade.. They are out and out lying to their account holders, and im going to make it my mission for the remainder of the day to share my experience today with these folks. This is wrong, plan and simple.
