Dan It is just the position of hands. It is not a very clear picture or great representation. The thin bands(lines) on the outside of the picture, represent the narrow gate whithin which one can live "the good life". the thinner bands within that, represent the disturbing influences or events that can cause people to stray outside of the narrow gate. Kind of a strange picture for an ex-Jewish, current new age unitarian to have hanging in their home isnt it:-) mark
