Blake, Gottfried, Teri and Threaders, Semiconductor-equipment makers break into the "A" Industrial Group Strength category of the IBD's Industry Prices Table. Their rank moved up from 44 out of 197 to 34th out of 197, pages B8 and A25. Additionally, AMAT is one point away from the Relative Strength, 90% range at 89%. This is the highest it has been since its last cycle in 1996-97 and IMO is very bullish. in the last up cycle when AMAT Relative strength hit 90 range it stayed there for 5-6 months with it prices continuing to follow.

A DW amat break of the $39 double top to $40 will be additionally very positive.

Naturally, past trends do not guarantee future success.

Just my opinions.
