My going "from bullish to bearish in a nanosecond" might be a slight exaggeration, but I'll definitely own up to having had a change of heart in a least a short time. I've gone from bullish as recently as a few days ago, to very doubtful today, to bearish after calling FTEL.
If something other than the audit drives the price up before noon, I *might* get $2. I doubt it, though. I'd bet I'm not the only one who sees positive reports about the company and thinks "that's nice, but where's the audit?". I mis-spoke when I said I'd sell it at market if it didn't get bought by noon. I should've said I'd cancel the $2 limit order and split the bid and ask. In any event, my position isn't large enough to move the price around.
You make it sound like I'm leaving, Vic. Don't get your hopes up. *LOL*
I'm going to stick around this thread for as long as the majority will tolerate my seeing both sides of the picture and occasionally pointing out the side I don't think is getting enough discussion. I'm not seeing this as a complete abandonment of FTEL. In fact, it is, but only short-term (I hope). I'm selling at what I think will be the highest before the audit comes out, with every intention of getting back in, at a lower price, when/if the audit hits the scenes. I'm not saying it won't come out. I just am not comfortable betting money on it at this point, having been burned before in an identical situation.
I'm extremely bullish on a post-audit FTEL, and because of that, I am going to let the proceeds just sit in cash (and add quite a bit to it -- I've decided not to do the PP at all), and will be jumping back in with both feet when/if it becomes a fact rather than just another repeated promise.
If I time this correctly, I'll be considered very wise, having taken my profits and gotten back in at a lower price. If I don't time it correctly, I'll just be another schmuck who buys in post-audit at $3 and only 5X's his money. <g>
On a side note, both HVSF and SBYT saw sizable gains almost immediately after I sold them two weeks ago. I sold them to put the proceeds into INFR (averaging down), FTEL (averaging up), and HTSF (initial position). INFR, FTEL, and HTSF are all below my purchase price. This highlights two things:
1. When I sell FTEL, if history repeats itself, it'll start gaining very soon. If this happens, I expect a personal, emailed "Thank You" from every single person in here. *LOL*
2. I do not always make wise investment decisions (please, no concurring opinions on that), so whatever I say is not Gospel. As always, take my opinions with a huge grain of salt. |
