On special crabs....and RTQ >202

One guy was carrying a basketful of live, poisonous crabs. The basket had no lid but he left them unattended at the airport to go to the restroom. The airport security found the basket and immediately cordoned off the area and called in special staff to deal with the hazard.

The owner of these crabs came back at a leasurely pace and expressed surpise at the commotion. When he was reprimanded for leaving the poisonous crabs in an open basket and unattended, his response was
"Oh - these are special crabs which move in groups, if one tries to escape, the group pulls him back".

What does this have to do with YHOO ? Almost everyone on this thread is bearish. The moment anyone posts a bullish outlook, the group pounces and discredits them - sometimes quite strongly. Just so much like the crab group. I wonder if everyone is so bearish - how is the stock so much in demand ? Or is it that people secretly invest in YHOO but it is more trendy to bag YHOO in public ?

We bulls make our money, and do try and invite everyone to join us. But everytime there is an averse news, or the stocks suffer - the skeptics never miss a chance to convey "you drooling idiot-you were wrong and I told you so". We, on the other hand, consider that a learning opportunity - helps us understand how the pattern of YHOO holds over time, what pushes it up, what pulls it down...and revise our investment strategy accordingly.

Lets say all bulls stop posting here..! And then what ? You guys will all agree with each other that YHOO is bad investment...find a million reasons to support your arguements and live happily ever after ? What if you guys are wrong ? Once again...longs don't HAVE to convince anyone...but we do try to spread the prosperity around.

Investment profiles being different, the point is - rather than assume that the desire to invest in YHOO (or other internet companies)comes from depths of stupidity, how about acknowledging that maybe theres a point you may have missed, after all nobodys perfect. How about giving us credit for all good that has happened to YHOO - and to its investors? And trying to analyse just what is it about this YHOO which makes it tick !

PS : Believe me, I hate losing money as much as anyone else.
