Well not to belabor the specific issue, but there was an article in my local newspaper which talked about overzealous police, prosecutors and others with gvmnt power. Some of the statistics about how folks bent the rules and invented evidence or didn't tell the "whole truth" were astounding. If the police and courts can't catch and convict somebody legitimately -- I don't care whether they are guilty or not. The person should be set free. Stings and other underhanded stuff like that ought not to be done. Part of my job involves testifying and when I take the oath I take it seriously and attempt to tell the whole truth and nothing but ... I'll leave it there.
